Anderson Hu (3rd Dan) [2024 - Present]
Anderson is a current 3rd Dan Black Belt and has been practicing Taekwondo for 13 years. He joined the UChicago Taekwondo Club in 2022 as a freshman in the College. He enjoys Taekwondo as a form of exercise and fitness, but also as a community and a way of continuously improving oneself. As a Co-Captain, he is excited to both teach and learn from others.
Ethan Li (4th Dan) [2025 - Present]
Ethan is a current 4th dan black belt and has been practicing taekwondo for 15 years. He started his taekwondo journey in Edison, New Jersey, earning his 2nd dan black belt before moving to San Jose, California and earning his 4th dan black belt. He is now continuing his craft at the University of Chicago. He joined the UChicago club in his sophomore year, and enjoys the community, exercise, and lifestyle that Taekwondo provides. As co-captain, he is excited to lead the club and has goals of elevating the club rigor and performing more demonstrations around campus.
Andrew Kane (3rd Dan) [2025 - Present]
Andrew Kane is a current 3rd Dan Black Belt. He started practicing in 2016 at C.K. Lee Taekwondo Academy, and he joined the UChicago Taekwondo Club in 2024 during his freshman year. He practices taekwondo as a medium of exercise, community, and self-improvement, and as co-captain, he’s excited to train with the club and have a great year!
